Every Friday, my stepmom and I have a tradition of watching old Westerns together, much to my dad’s dismay. When the movie starts, I call out to her, and she joins me on the sofa. She’s always cold, so I grab a blanket to warm us up. As I rub her thigh, I notice her legs subtly part, and I wonder if she’s turned on or if I’m just reading too much into it. I try to shake off the guilty thought and we focus on the movie.
