A delivery person, Daniel, suspects abuse in Carrie’s family after sensing tension and Carrie’s denials. Two years later, he marries Carrie’s widowed mother. Carrie is delighted that her abusive father is deceased and cherishes Daniel as her loving stepfather. Daniel confesses to helping her father’s death, surprising Carrie, who then expresses gratitude and lust for him. Daniel feels conflicted with his own forbidden desires while Carrie seduces him.
